Asbestos Awareness (CAT A)

This basic asbestos awareness course is aimed at all employees who are at risk of coming into contact with asbestos containing materials during their usual work activities.


 It covers the risks associated with asbestos, identification of asbestos containing materials, and duties under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. 


SWSC are members of the Independent Asbestos Training Providers (IATP).

Category B: Who Should Attend?

The course is designed for persons who carry out construction/demolition activities & who’s work could involve the disturbance or removal of non-licensable asbestos containing materials (ACMs).
